Walt Littleton has been playing drums and percussion for 18 years.  Before college, he played in various local bands around the state.  After earning a degree in percussion performance and music industry from the University of Southern Mississippi, Walt performed semi-professionally across the South East in a number of bands, playing all styles and venues.  He is an original member of the steel drum band Kaiso (cello and guitar pans) and a guest performer with the Samba and Salsa Project, both based out of Hattiesburg, MS.  Currently, he is playing in the Meridian band, Falling South, teaching drum and percussion lessons, and playing the odd steel drum or world percussion gig.  If that isn't enough, he’s a high school teacher, directing the Computer Systems Technology program at Ross Collins Career and Technical Center, and will soon finish his Ph.D.
