Scott
McQuaig
___________________ Scott McQuaig was born and raised in Meridian, Mississippi. He grew up listening to everyone from Jimmie Rodgers and Muddy Waters to Hank Williams and Waylon Jennings. When he was twelve years old , he took guitar lessons from local hero and legend, Carl Fitzgerald, and not too many years later, started writing songs and cutting his teeth in the honky-tonks around east Mississippi and west Alabama. Scott was fortunate enough to sign a recording contract with MCA Records in 1988 and his self -titled album, co-produced with Jimmy Bowen, was released. After spending some years traveling and performing his music, Scott decided his kids needed him more than the road did, and he came home. He now lives in Arkadelphia, Mississippi, and is still writing songs and performs often with his band, "The Rebel Kings." ____________ Contact: Download Cut-Out MP3
