Ken Chappell
______________ Born a very shy Air Force brat who grew up in Birmingham, Al. Early piano lessons began at age 9; however, I quickly convinced parents to buy my first guitar. From that point, music and “trying to get a band” became a pretty constant component of my life. That was until college… At that time, school and future became my main focus in life. Over time, I have gradually worked music back into my life. I have played in countless “open mic” nights and sat-in with many great musicians. My first paid gig finally occurred in May 2001 with John Fera (jokingly “The Immaculate No Wipers”). Now, I have joined with Lloyd Trammel to form “K2” and have played in many local venues.
