John Fera

John Fera is originally from Niagara Falls, NY where he started gigging as a guitarist over 20 years ago. He has covered lots of styles - rock, top 40, progressive, country, R&B - before moving to Meridian in '91.
Since then, he has played with local acts such as Great Divide, Purple Lotus, Dirty Dogs, Niki Watson Trio, and Chicken Head Mic - with whom (on one lucky night) he got to trade leads with Steve Cropper, who sat in for a number of songs. John currently plays around town with Niki Denton (formerly Watson), a great local vocalist. They go by the impressively imaginative moniker Niki & John.
