HISTORY

High Cotton was  founded and immediately fell under our parent company, Music Square One, Inc., which is comprised of many different organizations which have been in business since 1980: Flashback Productions, New South Productions, New South Records, Raising Moore Cain Music (BMI), Cowboy Killers Music (ASCAP), The Bad Boy Radio Network, The Labyrinth Recording Studio, Retro Rewind, Bar Monitoring, Inc., Pro Audit, Inc. among others.  These businesses have been involved heavily in the music industry undertaking many different types of ventures. Through this vast experience, High Cotton Records hopes to be able to serve our Artist's needs and to continue to provide a unique approach to promoting, marketing and distributing what we love most - MUSIC!

We feel that the Song is the most important and key element of music and that although there is certainly room for musical virtuosity, a really good song that is easy to listen to and in some cases the easiest to play makes the most sense. We further believe that the Internet is going to make the days of the major label controlling the business limited to say the least. We are currently scouting new acts and are endeavoring to increase our networking opportunities.
